1. One-Year Limited Warranty – Labor & Materials

BSR LLC warrants that all painting services provided will be free from defects in workmanship and supplied materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion. This includes:

• Peeling, blistering, or chipping paint caused by defective workmanship

• Application errors or improper preparation

• Defects in paints, primers, and other materials supplied by BSR LLC

During this one-year period, both labor and materials are covered.

2. Five-Year Limited Warranty – Materials Only

From year two (2) through year five (5), BSR LLC provides a limited warranty on materials only. This covers:

• Defects in paints, primers, and other materials supplied by BSR LLC

Labor costs for repair or repainting after the first year are not included.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Structural shifts or settling

• Water intrusion, mold, or mildew

• Customer neglect, misuse, or accidental damage

• Improper cleaning methods

• Acts of God or natural disasters

3. Ten-Year Limited Warranty – Premium Exterior Materials

For projects where premium-grade exterior coatings were applied—specifically Sherwin-Williams Emerald or equivalent products—and surfaces have a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) rating of 50 or higher, BSR LLC offers a ten (10) year limited warranty solely against excessive color fading.

• Warranty applies only if the original invoice specifies Emerald (or equivalent) product use.

• Fading must be visibly significant and not attributable to external factors (pollution, surface damage, chemical exposure, etc.)

Note: This portion of the warranty covers materials only. Labor costs for repainting are not included under this provision.

4. Claims and Limitations

To file a warranty claim, the original customer must notify BSR LLC in writing within the applicable warranty period, including photographs and a description of the issue.

BSR LLC reserves the right to inspect the property and determine the validity of the claim. If covered, remedies may include:

• Touch-up or full repaint (labor & materials) during Year 1

• Material replacement only during Years 2–5 for general defects

• Material replacement only during Years 2–10 for premium product color fade claims

5. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by BSR LLC. No other guarantees, express or implied, are made. Liability under this warranty is limited to the original contract price or the cost of remedying the defect, whichever is lower.
